Dance all night: It’s one of the classiest joints in the capital, and in typically chic style The Yacht Club is hosting DJ Rabih tonight. He’ll be playing a cool, upbeat set, complete with live music from a saxophonist and a late dance show. The perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Feast on Ramadan chocolates: Chocolate shop ChoCo’a has just launched its Ramadan collection of hand-made chocolate delicacies, so if you want some unusual gifts to give people during the Holy Month, this is the place to buy them. The selection includes Middle Eastern sweets, such as dates, maamoul and baklawa, dipped in Belgian chocolate, as well as Arabic coffee, rosewater and halawi flavoured chocs.

Send the kids to summer camp: Millennium Hotel have just launched its kids’ summer camp, so if you pack your little ones off for a week or more, they’ll be able to enjoy all sorts of games and activities while you get some peace and quiet. Suitable for ages three-11.

Enjoy a bubbly brunch… Or ‘Bruner’ as they like to call it at Pearls and Caviar – that’s a combo of breakfast, lunch and dinner, don’t cha know.
