Hamburg cool kids Jence and Isi have got their sights set on more dancefloor devastation with this second longplayer. The pop rush and synth fuzz of ‘2 Hearts’ and giddy beat cracks of ‘Circles’ makes us wish Soulwax would pull their finger out, but that’s just by-the-by. It’s a testament to the duo’s melodic nous that they can imbue their electro bangers with swoony euphoria (‘Blitz’) before flipping into the compellingly hypnotic, dirty, dark, zombie videogame shoot-’em-dead soundtrack that is ‘Antibiotics’. Also, The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas co-wrote ‘Forrest Gump’, a hipster jogger’s anthem if ever there was one.
