Abu Dhabi airline Etihad is launching a direct route to Barcelona.
You’ll be able to take the flights from November 21, 2018.
Eithad already fly to Madrid, so this will be their second route into Spain.
It will fly five times a week until March 31, 2019 and will become daily thereafter.
Peter Baumgartner, chief executive of Etihad says: “We are delighted to announce the first direct link between these two important global hubs.
“We are confident it will prove very popular with UAE and Barcelona-based customers – allowing us to extend our acclaimed inflight service, hospitality and flair to this vibrant Mediterranean city, and to build on the flourishing cultural and commercial ties between the UAE and Spain.”
The flight will take around six hours and 30 minutes. Abu Dhabi is two hours ahead of Barcelona.
The Catalonian city is a favourite with tourists, being home to some amazing sights, Barcelona FC’s Camp Nou stadium and some of the best food in Europe.
