The Collection

A follow-up to 2009 horror-romp The Collector, this sequel looks to be as lazily constructed as it is titled: the eponymous serial killer of the previous movie returns to blackmail that film’s hero, Arkin (Stewart).
Like its predecessor, it comes from Marcus Dunstan, the hack co-writer behind Saw IV, V and VI, Saw 3D, who has kept busy since his only other stint in the director’s chair penning the laughable Piranha 3DD. A collector’s item this is not.
