Tickets for the AFC Asian Cup 2019 will go on sale next week – with tickets for the huge football tournament starting from Dhs25.
Officials confirmed seats will be on sale from Monday, July 30 for next year’s event.
Match day seats have been split into three categories: one, two and three. Prices will vary depending on the category and stage of the competition.
CAT3 tickets for group stage games cost just Dhs25, and Dhs75 for the final.
It is part of the UAE’s Local Organising Committee’s objective to bring the sporting spectacle closer to everyone and every budget.
Announcing the ticket sales date in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this week, His Excellency Aref Hamed Al Awani, tournament director of the LCO, said, “The general public ticket sales launch is an important milestone in the ongoing preparations for what is expected to be an exceptional and impressive tournament in 2019.
“The planning and development meetings in Kuala Lumpur with the Asian Football Confederation proved positive and the LOC received great praise on all our preparatory work.
“Higher Committee of the LOC is committed to providing affordable tickets to ensure accessibility for all fans, full capacity match attendance across all stadiums and to unite diverse communities.”
Next January’s tournament – the second oldest continental football tournament in history – will be the largest sporting event hosted in the UAE.
It will also be the biggest ever AFC Asian Cup, with Asia’s top 24 nations playing 51 matches in eight stadiums across four host cities Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Sharjah.
