There’s nothing like wandering through a farmers’ market, unashamedly eating all the free samples, before taking home some amazing food and drink.
Well, starting from this weekend, Deerfields Mall will be hosting its own farmers’ market every Friday and Saturday.
Open from 4pm to 10pm, there will be over 20 different stalls featuring locally grown and produced fruit, vegetables and even small animals.
To celebrate the launch of the market, children can enjoy exciting activities, fun-filled games and live entertainment from October 24 until October 27.
Initiated by the Abu Dhabi Municipality and in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Farmers Services Center, the market is designed to support local farmers and also give residents the chance to sample unique and special products.
Matthew Reay, director of Asset Management at Deerfields Mall is very excited about the new event.
He said: “The weekend event serves as a unique platform where our farmers can showcase locally-grown, quality products. It also encourages healthy living and provides all-encompassing family fun for everyone.”
The market will continue to run until March 30 2019.
