Eat Italian: At Park Rotana’s Ginger, Wednesday nights are when the pasta is al dente and the pizza is piping hot. It’s Dhs140 per person, which is fair for five-star hotel dining. And if the weather’s nice, you can take your supper outside.

Try some new Thai: With the new Sofitel on the Corniche now open, it has brought along with it some great new restaurants. Why not try Silk & Spice, their Thai-themed restaurant. Sit at the sunken tables and enjoy the view over the Corniche.
