Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Superman’s famous cape worn by Christopher Reeve flying into Yas Mall for all DC comic book fans to see, and there are plenty more iconic superhero products to ogle at.
The largest mall in Abu Dhabi has partnered up with DC and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to host The Art of DC – The Dawn of Super Heroes for the first time in the Middle East, and it’s celebrating DC’s rich history in style.
It’s every fan’s dream come true, as the one-of-a-kind exhibition will showcase historical and original pages from some of the most iconic comics in the world, all drawn by legendary artists such as Jim Lee, Bob Kane, Neal Adams, Frank Miller, Alex Ross and many more.
As for the DC film fans? They can feast their eyes on rarely seen costumes and props from celebrated films directed by Zack Snyder, Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan, including exclusive artworks of your favourite team of superheroes from DC’s latest Justice League movie.
For a trip down DC memory lane, Christopher Reeve’s cape as worn in some of the best Superman movies to date will be on display, along with the iconic Wonder Woman outfit worn by Lynda Carter in the 1970’s TV series.
