Enjoy ladies night on Yas lsland: Looking for a different location to head to with the girls? Y-Bar at the Yas Island Rotana offers free unlimited selected beverages for the girls from 8pm to midnight. Dance to beats by DJ Graca, playing everything from soul to funk.

Cook Italian: Sign up for lessons in the art of Italian cooking with Frankie’s Chef Andrea. Lessons are Dhs390, and guests who book the first will be able to book subsequent lessons at a discounted price of Dhs290. Have a bargain night out: Jazz up your Wednesday evenings with a bargain. Head to the Jazz Bar or Hemingway’s at the Hilton Abu Dhabi, where they’ve just introduced Bargain Night. Party on an island: Immaculate Touch at Al Maya Island is back! These cool pool parties kick off at 1pm in the afternoon and go on until the wee small hours, with boats shuttling back and forth from Al Maya to the mainland. The sensational line up of DJs included Natalie Brogan, Cliff Townley, ChadPhunk and Stew Magoo. Joined by Adam L on sax, plus the usual array of dancers, fire breathers and stilt walkers.

Watch ballet: Embark on an evening full of love, intrigue, betrayal and dance with La Bayadèr. Whether you’re into ballet, or have always wanted to be, don’t miss the classic Temple Dancer on its first visit to Abu Dhabi.
