The United Arab Emirates Central Bank has issued a new coin. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the first oil shipment from Umm Al Shaif to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the coin is already in circulation in banks and can be found in the market. The newly introduced dirham coin weighs exactly 6.4grams and has a diametre of 29mm. It has an alloy composition of 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel. The coin was released on October 29.
