Abu Dhabi’s Decade of Action on Road Safety seems to have got off on the right foot. There has been an 18 percent drop in the number of fatal road accidents within the past three years. Commenting on the topic, an expert from the Transport Research Laboratory UAE, which is an independent research organisation, stated that the United Arab Emirates had progressed well in those years. There has been a notable reduction in casualties as well as financial savings which result from traffic accidents. If these trends continue, Abu Dhabi will soon have much safer roads for us all to enjoy.
