If you’re looking for a chill place to enjoy views of the city, Brick Rooftop Kitchen & Bar is the spot. Brick is back for the winter season with two brick ovens, one rooftop, and great vibes. This spot is serving us a rustic outdoor and garden-themed atmosphere, and is a chill spot to grab a bite or a drink. Choose from a range of grapes, craft hops, and signature mixed drinks and be sure to make it there for sunset this weekend.

Experience the new exhibition at Louvre Abu Dhabi
Louvre Abu Dhabi has announced its second international exhibition of 2021: Dragon and Phoenix – Centuries of Exchange between Chinese and Islamic Worlds, which will run from Wednesday October 6 2021 until Saturday February 12 2022. There you’ll find more than 200 artworks and a wide-ranging cultural programme with artefacts from two worlds: China (the dragon) and the Islamic world (the phoenix). Have dinner at Cho Gao Marina Walk
The pan-Asian eatery inside the InterContinental takes its name from the Vietnamese phrase for rice market, and we certainly can’t resist grabbing some while here (and neither should you). Highlights on the menu span the continent, ranging from Chinese black pepper beef to roasted duck Thai red curry. We’re in.

Jump into Oktoberfest at GLO
Looking for some hops and good vibes? GLO at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is hosting Oktoberfest with an authentic a la carte menu including pulled beef knuckle, beef short ribs, bbq brisket platter, Bavarian sausages with apple sauerkraut and mustard. You can also get roasted chicken and duck, cheese or onion Spätzle, Bavarian potato salad, gurkensalat, obatzda, fries, and pretzels.

Paraglide high above the desert dunes for a birds’eye view
There are few better ways of evoking the UAE’s national bird, the falcon, than by enjoying a sky-high experience as you soar through the air and wave at the lifeforms below. There is a massive race taking place at the Expo 2020 Dubai Run, and Dubai Sports Council has organised free morning and evening training sessions throughout October. The Expo Running Club will meet to fire up the afterburners at Expo Park from October 3-6, October 10-13, October 17-20 and October 24-27 (timings to be confirmed). Sip a drink and a brand-new hops garden
Looking for a new live music venue to enjoy in Abu Dhabi? The Green is Abu Dhabi’s biggest pop-up hops garden. It’s brand new, and open now at the Abu Dhabi City Golf Club. Take in a Saadiyat sunset at TEN 11 Beach
If you want a truly beachy vibe at Mamsha, this spot is killer, dude. TEN 11 Beach is one of the newer spots to have just opened at this Saadiyat hotspot. With a sand-coloured interior, neon pink signage, and a pretty outdoor terrace with a view of the Saadiyat sands, it’s a photogenic place to kick back after a day of sun and swimming.

Women of Ferrari are screeching into town with a ladies’ only event
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host its first-ever ladies-only event, Women of Ferrari, on Tuesday October 5 from 6pm to 10pm. Ladies and little girls alike are in for an exciting evening, complete with Ferrari-inspired rides, shows, attractions and family-friendly experiences to delight female guests of all ages. Ladies attending ‘will be able to enjoy added privacy and comfort during the event, which will be run by an all-female staff.
