Al Forsan Abu Dhabi guide

Visit Al Forsan for world-class sports and leisure in Abu Dhabi

It’s time to get out the office for some exciting team-building activities. But where to go?
Your colleagues will love Al Forsan, the world-class sports and leisure resort right in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

Sounds good. But is it outdoors only?
Absolutely not! There are al fresco and indoor activities to enjoy, with the latter available in air-conditioned arenas so you don’t lose your cool.

Okay, so what does the resort offer then?
Well, how much time do you have? It’s a hive of activity with a large shooting range, water sports, equestrian centre, motorsports and indoor paintball.

Great! I think my family will enjoy it too.
The facilities are not only unique for corporate and team-building events, but also a great adventure for family members of all ages. Kids’ fun includes the bungee run, velcro fly, sumo suits and bouncy castles.

What about pitches and courts?
Oh, it has plenty. The football, tennis, basketball and volleyball facilities are all air-conditioned. Also, Al Forsan offers classes such as Zumba and pilates.

It sounds like a whole day affair. I’ll get peckish.
Don’t worry, there’s a café and a variety of restaurants to choose from, including Indian and Italian outlets to keep energy levels up.

I’d love to get a real rush…
Okay, adrenaline junkie, you have the karting circuit, which is great for fast-paced thrills, while the equestrian arena includes riding, polo, show jumping and dressage. And you can’t get more thrilling than firing rounds at the state-of-the-art shooting range.

True! But this all sounds pricey…
Al Forsan has some great offers. At the moment it has a summer package for only Dhs110 per person that lets you try a variety of sports including wake boarding, laser shooting and archery. But hurry, it’s only valid until the end of this month.
Sun-Thu 2pm-11pm, Fri-Sat 11am-10pm, www.alforsan.com (02 556 8555).

Only at Al Forsan

A first for the middle east

Did you know that Al Forsan offers the region’s first cable ski lakes? Both beginners and professionals can practise wake boarding, knee boarding and water skiing in the purpose-built lake with artificial waves. Traditionally the skier’s rope and handle are pulled by a motorboat, but at the ski-lake the skiers are pulled along by an electrically driven cable. Guaranteed fun!
