Kinokuniya opens a new chapter

The Japanese bookstore, which already has branch in Dubai Mall, is set to open their first store in Abu Dhabi in September at The Galleria.

As part of The Galleria’s extension, the bookstore will be opening up soon at the new mall.

Build your own pizza at the city’s latest pizzeria

A new build-you-own pizza joint has opened at The Galleria Al Maryah Island. Promising to deliver your perfect pizza the restaurant operates a little bit differently to other venues.

Customers can select a signature pizza to customise just the way the like it, or ask the ‘pizzasmiths’ to create one in front of their eyes.

To do this you simply pick your toppings, watch as they’re placed on top of your base, add seasoning and wait as your creation turns into a beautiful freshly-baked pizza.

We don’t know about you, but all this talk of pizza is making us want to try one (extra cheese and pepperoni, please).

Just try not to burn your mouth on the hot cheese, that’s a rookie error.

A new outdoor chill-out zone

Al Maryah Island is already a cool place to hang around but now there’s a great new place to meet with friends and enjoy the (cooler) sunny weather.
