If you’re an early-riser and want to do something special to start the day then there’s a fun new experience that might tick all the boxes. Kayak tours have launched around Louvre Abu Dhabi. Day and nighttime tours were introduced offering you the chance to take in the sight of the museum from the water and now a new sunrise session has been launched that helps you beat the heat and enjoy a special start to the day. Seeing the sun rise over the ocean on Saadiyat, reflecting off that impressive dome, sounds like a fun experience to us. Tours start from 6am on Fridays and Saturdays and cost Dhs126 per person. Sounds like a great way to start the day.

Recharge your batteries at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi 

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi has launched just the day packages. The hotel now offers a selection of wellbeing experiences. Taking place daily, there are three different packages, including ‘Re-fuel’ at Dhs300, ‘Re-connect’ at Dhs400 and ‘Re-energise’ at Dhs500. Every package kicks off with a mindful arrival, offering a welcome kit with safety and hygiene products, healthy snacks and drinks along with a meditation session. Then, visitors will get to choose a physical well-being activity, featuring gym sessions with a personal trainer, tennis court access, HIIT sessions along with and beach access. After training, it’s time to tuck into some healthy grub from a selection of the hotel’s different menus, followed by some time relaxing on the beach or walking through the hotel’s gardens. It doesn’t end there, as visitors will finish of the day with a Swedish FIKA tradition. Basically, it’s time to spend with friends over coffee and cake, and to appreciate the little things in life.

Feast on unlimited pizza at Cafe Milano 

Pizza we love it and we can’t get enough. If you’re like us then you’ll want to know about the ongoing promotion at Cafe Milano. Head along to the swish Italian restaurant on a Wednesday night and you can enjoy unlimited pizza for Dhs190 per person. We’ve tried a lot of pizza in this city and Cafe Milano is in with a shout as the best in town if you ask us. As well as slice after slice you’ll also enjoy unlimited soft drinks too. We’ll see you there, stuffing our face.

Chill at Anantara Eastern Mangroves 

Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel has introduced new pool pass. The Laze, Gaze and Refresh package gives you day access to the infinity pool overlooking the natural mangroves for Dhs150 per person, including Dhs75 credit to spend. It’s available daily between 8am and 7pm. Sounds like a nice way to spend the day.

Chill with the girls at Saadiyat Beach Club

Saadiyat Beach Club has introduced a day pass deal just for the ladies. Head along on a Monday and ladies can enjoy access to the pool and beach for Dhs120 per person. Make your way there on a Tuesday and you can enjoy access for Dhs199 and you’ll also get a snack and three hours of free-flowing beverages from noon to 3pm. Places must be booked in advance as the venue is operating under strict capacity rules.

Try the new brunch at Tori No Su 

Tori No Su has a brand new Friday brunch. The Nihon Hiru brunch will take place every Friday from 12.30pm until 4pm and the hand-crafted menu, which has been designed by kaiseki-trained chef Ando Takashi and his team, promises to transport brunchgoers to the heart of Japan. Brunch at the chic Japanese restaurant kicks off with an array of starters including miso soup, prawn and scallop gyozas and Japanese-style spring rolls, while main course highlights include grilled salmon with miso mayonnaise, tuna steak, beef yakisoba and chicken teriyaki. If you have a sweet tooth make sure to leave room for desserts – think matcha tiramisu and hot chocolate pudding. Sounds delicious.

Thursday: Visit Jubail Mangrove Walk 

Abu Dhabi’s Mangrove Walk at Jubail Mangrove Park opened in January 2020 and quickly became one of the most popular attractions in the city. Thousands of visitors have explored the attraction since it opened its doors and it’s easy to see why with beautiful scenery offering an escape from busy city life. Now, after a short closure, Jubail Mangrove Walk is set to reopen to the public on October 1. Tickets must be bought in advance so if you want to visit you’ll have to plan ahead. Hire a whole movie theatre for you and some friends 

Private screenings are now available for groups of up to ten people at cinemas at The Galleria Al Maryah Island and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. It costs Dhs450, so if you take ten people that’s Dhs45 per person. You’ll need to book in advance. Films showing now include Tenet, Mulan, The New Mutants and more. Visit Abu Dhabi’s newest beach

Abu Dhabi welcomed a brand new beach last month. Soul Beach opened on July 27 as part of the Mamsha Al Saadiyat Community. Weekday access costs Dhs50 per person and on weekends it’s Dhs75. With your entry fee you’ll get access to a sun lounger and parasol included. Once there you’ll find 1km of pristine, manicured beach on Saadiyat Island. There are 400 sun loungers with parasols and a 400m swimming zone in the ocean. All beds have a table with a QR code, scan it and you’ll get a menu where you can order refreshments and food to be delivered to you by buggy. Brilliant.
