It’s here – Dubai’s mega summer of shopping deals all kicked off on Thursday July 1, so if you’re looking to bag a bargain, you’re in the right place.
Dubai Summer Surprises is in full swing, and to celebrate the start of a summer of sales, deals, offers and super events there was a massive event at Dubai Festival City.
This year marks the 24th anniversary of DSS and in honour of the occasion Dubai Festival City laid on a special Imagine show – with the expertly choreographed light and music show lighting up the night sky to the tune of “Dubai Kawkab Akhar”.
Dubai Summer Surprises runs all the way until September 4, so if you fancy checking out something fun this summer you’re in luck (for more events and highlight click here).
DSS runs throughout Eid Al Adha (where we’re due plenty of time off to hit the shops) and even covers back to school, so if you’re looking to save some cash on the kids’ new stationary or clothes you know where to go.
Fun newcomers in 2021 include Summer Restaurant Week, the Big Eid Eat and Dine & Win, while families can get in on action with Movie Magic and the Summer Art Project campaigns.
More than 300 live performances are scheduled to take places throughout the summer, with organisers promising even more surprises along the way.
