New gluten-free menu launched at Café Bateel

Coeliacs can tuck into pastas, salads, main courses and desserts

Gluten-hater? We have some good news.

Café Bateel has launched a new gluten-free menu, and it features a load of gluten-free editions of the café’s signature favourites.

Now coeliacs can get stuck into healthy salads, hearty soups, freshly-made pastas, main courses and desserts without fear, and dishes sound simply scrumptious.

The Bateel club is one of the dishes now available for tomatoes, avocado and egg layered with a choice of tune or chicken and sandwiched between a slice of gluten-free bread.

After something a bit more substantial? The three cheese quinoa rigatoni features gluten-free pasta in a creamy yet light sauce featuring mascarpone, Parmigiana Reggiano and pecorino cheese.

You can also sink your teeth into succulent Australian rib-eye steak, served with a healthy superfood salad, quinoa and a zesty avocado dressing, or prawn fusilli in creamy tomato sauce if it’s carbs your craving.

There’s also a selection of homemade gluten-free desserts, made fresh daily and available at the confectionary counter.

We can’t wait to try it out.

Locations include Nation Towers and The Galleria, www.bateel.com.
