Etihad launches new flights from Abu Dhabi to Salalah for summer

Book a flight from the capital to the Omani coast for khareef season

Looking to enjoy a break away from Abu Dhabi this summer?

While there’s plenty to do here in the capital over the next few months there are so many summer deals and staycation packages to tempt us into packing our bags and heading off.

Giving you even more choice for a short holiday, Etihad Airways has introduced new seasonal flights from Abu Dhabi to Salalah, Oman.

The flights will allow Abu Dhabi residents to visit the Omani city in time for the khareef (green season).

Salalah is one of the few cities in the Arabian Peninsula to experience monsoons eason and, a result, visitors can see waterfalls, enjoy lower temperatures than the rest of the GCC and see spectacular vegetation and greenery.

Flights will depart from Abu Dhabi four times a week between July 2 and August 31 leaving at 8.05am and arriving at 10am in Oman.

So with regular flights and the possibility of enjoying a few days in cooler climes, why not check it out for yourself?
