Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit announces timings for free training over summer

You can now cycle around the track on mornings

We don’t know if you noticed but it’s getting a little hotter here in the capital.

Humidity is up, the temperature is climbing and we forget what wearing jeans is like, as we embrace a summer wardrobe when out and about.

When it comes to outdoor workouts, the heat is on, and going for a run, cycle or even a walk has got that little bit more challenging.

Helping to keep people on track with their fitness goals, the popular free training nights at Yas Marina Circuit are changing their operating hours so you can beat the heat and still workout.

Early-risers can head to Yas Marina Circuit on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday morning to start the day with some exercise around the 5.55km track.

Until September 22 the free fitness events will take place from 5am-8am giving you the opportunity to cycle the track in cooler temperatures.

For those who don’t mind the hot weather, the Tuesday night event (where you can also run arond the track) will continue even in the summer between 6pm and 10pm.

We’re sure when the alarm goes off early for a 5am workout you’ll want to hit the snooze button, but we’re sure it will be worth it if you get up, get ready and head along.

Free. Mon, Wed, Thu 5am-8am, Tue 6pm-10pm. Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Island www.yasmarinacircuit.com
