New cultural activities announced in Al Ain for the summer

Keep kids busy with some traditional crafts and cultural experiences

We love Al Ain, the Garden City is a wonderful place to visit and find out more about the cultural history of the UAE.

With its great museums, the stunning oasis and the sight of Jebel Hafeet, it’s a must-visit for everyone living in the city of Abu Dhabi.

The good news is children can enjoy a host of cultural activities this summer in Al Ain.

The Department of Culture and Tourism has launched a summer programme for children at Al Qattara Arts Centre and Qasr Al Muwaiji.

Covering a range of topics and activities including art, archaeological workshops and cultural excursions, children can learn about the history of the UAE.

Open to kids from six to 13, the summer programme will also teach children a number of traditional handicrafts.

Activities will take place every day at Al Qattara Arts Centre in July from 9am to midday.

To register you can visit Al Qattara Arts Centre or email qac@dctabudhabi.ae.
Various times and locations. Until July 31.
