The hugely anticipated Insomnia Gaming Festival is coming to Dubai, and if you’re already planning on going, you can get your early-bird tickets from Dhs75 on Virgin Megastore and Platinumlist right now.
As for you more competitive types, now’s your chance to get in on the action of the the festival in “Road To INSOMNIA”.
The online event is a series of online tournaments where teams and single-players can register for a chance to qualify and battle it out in the ‘INSOMNIA Dubai eSports finals’.
There’s a combined prize pool of Dhs500,000 up for grabs. We think that’s incentive enough to get signed up.
Online registrations for Rainbow 6, Apex Legends and CS:GO are already live via Gamers Hub Middle East with a lot more titles to be announced in the weeks to come.
All eSports qualifiers can be watched and live streamed on Twitch.

The festival takes place from Thursday October 17 until Saturday 19 at Meydan Racecourse, and it’s bringing everything from Cosplay competitions to proper eSport events.
It’s also been announced there will be a huge after party at Meydan’s Soho Garden DXB, with a list of headline artists and more to be announced closer to the date.
Smaller tournaments where exclusive merchandise can be won will see top players battle it out in Overwatch, League of Legends and, of course, Fortnite.
Want to dress up as your favourite gaming character? There’s no better place, as Insomnia’s signature masquerade competition will see many cosplayers dress to impress in order to win big.
There are plenty of other sections, including one dedicated to VR gameplay, a place where gamers can bring their own computers for huge LAN parties, along with drone racing challenges and a dance floor featuring live DJ sets.
