If you’re yet to pay a visit to Hatta, you’re missing out on one of the UAE’s most naturally stunning areas and an absolutely gorgeous spot to visit during the cooler months.
Now there are four weekends coming in the winter months that are designed to help you get out of the city, reconnect with nature a little bit and go through a (probably-much-needed-if-you’re-reading-this) digital detox.
The Hatta Glamping & Yoga Weekend Retreat is taking place between October 10 and 12, and again between November 7 and 9, December 5 and 7 and January 9 and 11 and it’s promising all of the above, plus more.
Prices vary but for Dhs1,790 per person in October, you’ll get two nights in one of the gorgeous Hatta trailers (with a double bed and a pull-out sofa), plus two morning, afternoon and evening yoga and meditation sessions – so you’ll get half a dozen classes across the weekend.
You’ll also get breakfast each morning, plus refreshments and free parking for the weekend too. There are barbecue pits for some evening relaxation and nights spent under the stars, and the organisers claim your trailer will be “hotel standard”, with wi-fi (admittedly, slow) and TV. But they stress that this isn’t about the frills, it’s about disconnecting from technology a bit and adopting a more natural stance for the weekend.
