If you’ve been to Yas Island recently, you’ll probably have noticed construction, as it continues to develop new attractions for visitors.
One of the most exciting projects is Yas Bay, a Dhs12 billion new area.
It includes a Hilton hotel and an 18,000-person indoor arena.
Yas Bay Arena is now 75 percent complete according to Miral, the developer of the waterfront destination.
Aiming to bring international acts, shows and performers to the stage, the venue is set to open in 2020.
The Waterfont in Yas Bay will also be home to two hotels, a beach club, a boardwalk, pier and 37 cafes and 19 retail outlets.
The 546-room Hilton is due for 2020, as well as the Residences at Yas Bay, which will be home to 15,000 people.
A new home for twofour54 will also be completed, becoming the new home for media in the city in the heart of Yas Island.
It’s all very exciting and we can’t wait to see it all when it’s completed next year.
