Six amazing new developments coming to Hatta

We’re not short of awesome things to do in Hatta.

From conquering the mountain enclave by bike, camping out under the stars, or zorbing around an obstacle course in an inflatable ball, the rocky terrain holds serious sway when it comes to planning a road trip.

And with amazing, undisturbed scenery that was simply born top be ‘grammed, you don’t even have to get stuck in to bask in Hatta’s inimitable hue.

Now the selection of super outings is growing, with six brand-new projects slated for the region.

Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has rubberstamped a development programme that features a raft of cool arrivals.

Top of the agenda is the installation of 504km-worth of chairlifts, a purpose-made Dubai mountain peak (Jebel Umm Al Nisour) that will provide pristine views from 1,300m above sea level, and Hatta’s very own sustainable waterfalls.

Also in the blueprint is a world-class hotel, plus even more hiking trails to safely traverse the rocks.

Some 200 holiday homes are being designed to support domestic tourism in district – so keep this development on your radar for the grand opening.

Sheikh Mohammed said: “Hatta is a model for small cities in the region. It has turned within a short period of time into one of the most important tourist destinations in the emirate, thanks to its different lifestyle.
