Roberto’s Abu Dhabi launches a a new Friday brunch

Head to Al Maryah Island for an Italian feast

We feel like all we do is talk about brunches sometimes and guess what? We’re about to do it again.

It’s really is brunch season and there are more options than you can shake a stick at (although that would be a strange thing to do).

Giving you another option on the weekend, Roberto’s has launched a new Friday brunch in Abu Dhabi.

The suave Italian restaurant is offering a four-brunch where you can enjoy some Italian delicacies.

So what can you expect when you visit?

Starters include burrata, ripe vine tomatoes and fresh basil, and golden fried calamari.

You can also sink your teeth into freshly baked pizzas with beef carpaccio, truffle and rocket, tuna tartare or take a trip to the oyster bar for some fresh bivalves.

Would it be Italian without pasta? Not in our books.

Risotto al Funghi Porcini will be served directly to your table, as well as the Tortelli arrabbiata, which sounds fantastic even in our poor Italian accent.

You will also get a choice of meat and fish dishes for a main course, so make sure you arrive hungry because there’s a lot of eating involved.

A selection of desserts will also be available, if you have space, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth before falling into a food coma.
From Dhs295 (house beverages), Dhs395 (house beverages), Dhs495 (premium beverages) and Dhs590 (bubbly). Fridays, noon-4pm. Roberto’s, The Galleria Al Maryah Island (02 627 9009).
