Christmas tree lighting
The hotel’s beautiful Christmas Tree will come alight on Thursday, December 5. It’s time to pull on your Christmas jumper, get the whole family ready and tuck into some festive sweets and a glass of mulled grape.

Sinterklaas at Belgian Café
This year, kids can dine free at the casual Belgian venue on December 6. There’s a special set menu for all under 12s. Now that’s a great Christmas present.

Gingerbread house making
Book now for a fun-filled afternoon with your little ones. Filini Garden’s chef Marco will show the kids how to make a mouth-watering gingerbread house, while the grown-ups indulge in some festive canapés and drinks. Booking in advance is essential for this one as there are limited spaces.

Bellissima Ladies’ night: Christmas edition
The Time Out award-winning Monday night event at Filini Garden is hosting a special festive edition on December 23 and 24. Ladies’ can enjoy tunes from DJ James and a Dhs55 bubbly package on both nights, while there’s also a chance to feast on a three-course Italian set menu on Christmas Eve. It’s Dhs190 for the soft drinks package and Dhs290 if you want to have grape with the meal.

Noche Buena at Amerigos
Be transported to the streets of Mexico with Amerigos’ Noche Buena event. You’ll be immersed into the occasion with banderitas, lively Latin music, and colourful cabanas serving traditional festive Mexican delicacies and drinks. It’s Dhs165 with soft drinks and Dhs265 with house beverages.

Christmas roast at Belgian Café
Head to Beglian Café Yas Island for a traditional British roast on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. There are huge portions of turkey, free-range chicken and slow-roasted beef sirloin to choose from, alongside all the festive trimmings and drinks. It’s all-you-can-eat for Dhs125 or unlimited house beverages and it’ll be Dhs199. Roast dinner, a great venue and football on the big screens? Sounds like a winner to us.

Filini Supper Club: Boxing Day edition
The Thursday evening brunch gets a festive twist, with chef Marco putting together a seasonal menu for the night. There will also be entertainment from DJ Cliff Townley. It’s Dhs225 for the evening, which includes drinks, bites and festive mains .

The Great Gatsby 20s New Year’s Eve at Filini
The stunning Filini Garden is putting on a glamorous party to see out 2019 in style. Expect cool, funky and chic Gatsby vibes as the venue is decked out in 1920s style. There’s a six-course Italian menu on offer while the DJ plays 20s hits before partying into the night to the sound of modern day clubbing hits. Packages start at Dhs495 including soft drinks, you can also opt for a grape option at Dhs715 and a sparkling package at Dhs895. Or, if you want to book one of the sofas on the bottom deck, it’s Dhs2,000, including two bottles of shorts.

Ano Nuevo at Amerigos
Welcome 2020 with a Mexican-style fiesta at Amerigos. There’ll be a festive menu of food and drinks from the colourful country from 8pm throughout the night. It’s Dhs325 with soft drinks, Dhs525 with house beverages and Dhs130 for six to 11 year olds.
