We don’t know about you, but as Christmas and New Year gets closer we just feel like making plans to go out with the girls.
Whether you are after a wild party, a few chilled mixed drinks or just a nice place to catch up, Abu Dhabi has loads of brilliant ladies’ nights to choose from.
Plus with offers like free drinks, fifty percent off food and free-flowing sparkling, it’s easy to have a fabulous festive celebration without spending a fortune (we suppose we should try and be a bit grown up and save some money for present buying).
So here are some of our top ladies’ nights in the city, as shortlisted in the Time Out Abu Dhabi Music & Nightlife Awards 2019.
Cho Gao Marina Walk
The pan-Asian lounge has an awesome interior which comes with cool paper lanterns and moody lighting. We’re obsessed with the pad thai and the vegetable tempura, but it’s also a brilliant spot for a catch up with the girls. The Tuesday ladies’ night offers free-flowing selected mixed drinks and house beverages for three hours, and top tunes.

Filini Garden
This super stylish bar was 2018’ Time Out Abu Dhabi Best New Nightlife winner, and since then it has gone from strength to strength. The Monday Bellissima ladies’ night in particular is one of the most happening nights in the capital. With soulful house from DJ Cliff Townley and a live saxophonist, girls can get free-flowing sparkling between 7.30pm and 1am for Dhs50. There’s also 50 percent off the plates of Italian food and an infectious party atmosphere. It’s always busy and never fails to be an awesome night.

Hamilton’s Gastropub
This casual bar is minimalist and modern and that’s why we like it. Decked-out with copper fittings, high ceilings and a bunch of barrels, the Tuesday ladies’ night deal includes three complimentary drinks and 50 percent off bar bites. In a place as fancy as Saadiyat Island, we love that this gastropub offers a fun and casual night out.

Iris Yas Island
This fashionable bar has bagged the highly commended title for its ladies’ night for two years in a row at our Music & Nightlife awards. Last year the Wednesday deal was given a revamp when the HYVE night launched, which is already a huge hit up the road at WHITE Dubai. There’s three free drinks for ladies from 9pm to 3.30pm and an amazing line-up of DJs performing every week, too.

Loca
Just like we’ll always be obsessed with this Mexican restaurant’s guacamole, we’ll never tire of going to this super popular ladies’ night. The Best Ladies’ Night winner for 2018 has stuck with its formula of offering unlimited Mexican mixed drinks every Wednesday from 7pm. We’re big fans of the classic lime variety, but there’s also raspberry, kiwi and many other flavours. The DJ spins ’90s tunes and it’s tonnes of fun every time and always busy, so make sure you book ahead.

MAD on Yas Island
The super club hosts URBN Thursdays every week, playing some of the biggest and best party hits around. There’s a free bar from 11am until 1am for ladies, and the occasional big name star. The party doesn’t stop until the early hours, so make sure you allow time for a lie in on Friday morning. Friday’s are just as good, with a complimentary bar for ladies all night long.

McGettigan’s
The friendly pub is always full of a fun-loving crowd. The Tuesday ladies’ night offers a rather generous five free house drinks for ladies, plus 50 percent off main courses like fish and chips, pastas and burgers. It’s chilled out and casual, and always makes hump day a bit more bearable. It also has a dance floor if you feel like busting some moves as the night goes on.

Ray’s Bar
Towering high in Etihad Towers, this bar might have one of the most exciting (and certainly the highest) locations in the capital. But the Thursday High Heels night out is an awesome deal. For Dhs65 ladies can get three beverages (including some expertly made mixed drinks). It runs all the way through until 2am, and it’s an awesome way of starting off the weekend.

The Warehouse
We love this cool tapas and grape bar for so many reasons. While it offers grapes from around the world every evening, Monday and Tuesday nights at this very likable bar holds extra appeal for the ladies. On Mondays girls can keep their cool and enjoy three free frozen mixed drinks, while on Tuesday there’s three complimentary house beverages between 6pm and 1am.
