Make your own DIY t-shirts with UAE artists to support COVID-19 health workers

Fashion-lovers and artists have come together to launch “paint it yourself” t-shirts to raise money

Looking for a new stay-at-home hobby? Well, here’s one that’ll not only get your creative juices flowing but lets you raise money for those effected by the current corona virus pandemic while you’re at it.

A group of UAE artists have come together to design COVID-19 and quarantine-inspired ‘colouring-in book’ style illustrations for t-shirts that you can paint at home.

The initiative, titled ‘CreateNations’ offers t-shirt designs that come in a range of styles for both adults and children to enjoy painting. Although the ‘Stay Home’ design by Fatima Mulla, ‘Not All Heros Wear Capes’ by Naqiyah Mustafa, ‘Pandemic’ by Mariya Li, and ‘Quarantine Fashion’ by Amamoda seem to be the most popular ones so far.

Sold at varied prices on the CreateNation website [CreateNations.com], all the proceeds from the items sold are donated to the Emirates Red Crescent to go towards personal protective equipment (PPE) for health workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. So, put your artistic hat on and get involved!

CreativeNation is run under the patronage of the soon-to-launch suit and corporate fashion collection by Briar Prestidge Trading LLC and has been authorized by the Department of Islamic Affairs.
