Free Art of Living exhibition in Abu Dhabi to celebrate Middle East talent

The design show will highlight 35 artists and architects from across the Middle East

If you’re a sucker for art, design and impeccable architecture, you won’t want to miss the Art of Living exhibition in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

The new design show will showcase works by 35 incredible artists and architects from across the Middle East.

Taking place across two villas on Jubail Island, the breathtaking Dhs10 billion development in Abu Dhabi’s mangrove, the Art of Living exhibition explores themes of “New Traditions and Nature Connection” and will be open to the public between October 15 to October 23 between 6pm and 11pm.

Brought together by Architectural Digest Middle East, the Art of Living exhibition will host 22 projects, which includes installations, objects and art.

The exhibition will also feature outstanding artists and creatives from all over the region, including the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar – and beyond.

Participating in this year’s Art of Living exhibition includes Omar Nakkash, from the popular Dubai furniture store and design firm Nakkash Gallery, Carla Baz, Emirati furniture designer Omar Al Gurg, founder of Modu Method, as well as Wajih, Verhaal Studio and Gregory Gatserelia.

According to the organisers, the Art of Living exhibition aims to “spotlight the region’s booming creative landscape and demonstrate the exceptional creativity of our talent. By removing the usual constraints of practical, functionality and commerse, and with the support of Jubail Island’s design and construction teams, Art of Living is an invitation to dream, to inspire.”

The Art of Living exhibition will be open to the public from October 15 and is free to attend, although you’ll need to RSVP here.

Jubail Island is one of Abu Dhabi’s most exciting new areas and is also home to the stunning Jubail Mangrove Park where you can escape busy city life and immerse yourself in local wildlife and nature.

Now that summer is over and the weather is cooler, what better place to spend your weekend than mooching around the mangrove park and heading over to immerse yourself in art and design? We know where we’ll be this weekend.
