Jimmy Carr in Abu Dhabi

Here’s what to expect if you’re going to see Jimmy Carr this week

There are special health and safety measures in place at DWTC

British comedian Jimmy Carr is coming to Dubai this week, and if you’re getting ready to go to Dubai World Trade Centre to see him, there will be special health and safety measures in place.

Part of DXBLaughs, produced by Done Events, the shows will be the first time Carr has performed in Dubai.

Organisers have released a video ahead of the shows, so fans know what to expect.

The video shows the layout of the seats in DWTC, as well as where to enter and exit, plus where to get drinks or a taxi from.

The first show is on Wednesday August 12 – a third date that was added after the first two sold out – while there are two more shows on Thursday August 13 and Friday August 15.

Part of Dubai Summer Surprises 2020, the gigs are Carr’s first in Dubai, and form part of his Terribly Funny tour.

According to Carr, fans can expect three laughs a minute thanks to his “fairly dark” material. Click here for Time Out’s full interview.
