Little World is a new experiential learning centre for kids, which is similar to hands on children’s museums in the west. If you enjoy watching your children play knowing that they are learning at the same time, this is the place. When children come to Little World, they have fun doing what kids do best: playing, creating, dancing, designing, building and role-playing with certified teachers standing beside them.
This is a place where entertainment meets education – Little World is comprised of experiential play-based learning stations and the centre offers guided educational activities, such as Brain Gym and High Scope, which are preschool learning programmes from the US. The best part is it’s included in your entrance fee.
Brain Gym is a method of teaching committed to the principle that moving with intention leads to optimal learning, and High Scope is based on the idea that children and adults learn best through hands-on experiences with people, materials, events, and ideas.
Children perform science experiments, such as making volcanoes using chemical reactions, studying cells through microscopes and building rockets. There are also plenty of literacy programmes to get involved in, such as story time with a professional storyteller, puppet shows, dress up rooms, musical acts, dramatic plays and much more with Little World’s Brain Gym and High Scope certified instructors.
Kids will also love the varied sensory experiences, such as a water exploration table and a dark sensory room where the little ones can have fun in the dark enjoying sparkling mirror balls, fibre optics and glow in the dark manipulatives.
Little World offers engaging science laboratories and educational experiences for children that may not be available in schools.
