Here in Abu Dhabi, we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to Asian restaurants.

However, few can rival the brilliant Hoi An at the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi.

After closing throughout the summer the Vietnamese eatery has marked its reopening by launching a brand new menu that’s full of delicious dishes, and we can’t wait to check it out.

New additions to the à la carte menu include traditional oxtail soup, Saigon beef salad, charcoal-grilled marinated duck breast and vegetarian pancakes.

Fans of the spot by the Grand Canal will also be relieved to know that it has kept its most popular dishes such as Vietnamese-style scallops, rice paper rolls, grilled lemongrass chicken and sizzling beef tenderloin.

The all-you-can-eat Super Sapa menu will also be continuing, offering guests the chance to try a huge range of authentic Vietnamese delicacies.

The Super Sapa menu is available every day between 6pm and 7.30pm for Dhs148 per person.

The restaurant is now open on Tuesdays as well, and to celebrate it has introduced a Tuesday Affair event that has a number of special features.

This includes a live station serving Banh Mi, a traditional Vietnamese sandwich featuring a baguette filled with a range of savoury ingredients, and starting from October 15, a handpan drummer will also be performing.

The night begins at 6pm, and prices start from Dhs68 per person.
