Ultra-glamorous venue sure to become a capital hotspot

The whole world wanted it – but Abu Dhabi got there first.

Buddha-Bar Beach has been bringing a touch of glamour to hot spots all over the planet – with pop-up locations already in Baku, Mykonos, Santorinoi and the Maldives – but the very first permanent opening is right here in the capital.

It’s safe to say the new arrival has got people here excited.

And that excitement is about to peak as we share sneak peak photos of the worldwide success story.

It has opened in the UAE for the very first time at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, which is the only branch in the world open all-year-round.

The stylish newcomer features chic bohemian design and opulent décor in a sprawling space with room for 290 people, including 94 on the plush terrace looking out onto the turquoise waters of Saadiyat Island.

Diners will be taken on a culinary journey, featuring exotic dishes spanning the Far East.

Top tastes on the menu include wagyu rib-eye steak and the signature Buddha-Bar chicken salad that features Chinese leaves, coriander, honey sauce and molasses.

The show kitchen boasts cevicheria, sushi counter, and robata grill visible to guests as they enter the space.

Guests will be serenaded by resident and guest DJs and make their choice from a wide selection of mixed drinks crafted by expert mixologists.

As well as a steady rotation of top DJs spinning toe-tapping tracks, there will also be saxophonists performing sunset sessions.

Marwan Fadel, General Manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, said: “Buddha-Bar Beach is a concept based on a unifying philosophy.
