It’s fair to say that most of us in Abu Dhabi are pretty good at eating (and so we should be after all those brunches).
But sports bar Velocity has come up with a new food challenge that’s set to test even those with the biggest of appetites.
In honour of International Chicken Wings Day (which is Monday July 29 if you didn’t know), the friendly bar is challenging you to finish 12 of their fiery volcanic hot chicken wings in just 20 minutes.
As well as the obligatory bragging rights, anyone who successfully completes the challenge will also get a Velocity ‘volcanic hot’ t-shirt.
It’s also free to take part, meaning you don’t even have to pay for the wings you eat.
You can have a go from 4pm until midnight, while selected beverages will also be available for Dhs24 throughout the evening.
