If you want to see what the cool kids get up to on a night out in Abu Dhabi, look no further than Boogie Box.
The bi-monthly event, which is held at ANNEX in The Abu Dhabi EDITION hotel, is renowned for bringing some of the top underground DJs from around the world to the capital.
And the next event is no different, with Scottish DJ Cain and Dubai-based Somalie on the bill.
They’ll both be performing at the brilliant venue on Thursday, August 1, with the night kicking off at 10am and running until 4am.
Cain is the first international booking of the Boogie Box season. He is a regular on Highlife Records and for fusing his love of traditional world folk music with infectious, rhythmic drum patterns, stand-out melodies and futuristic bass work.
His Raqis EP was the second Boogie Box Records release and he’s a favourite with the likes of Skream, Erol Alkan, and Ben UFO.
Afro house DJ Somalie will be the warm up from 10pm-1am. Cain will then take over.
