We’ll never ever get bored of chilling out on Abu Dhabi’s amazing beaches and islands, but this Friday (August 2) there’s something extra special happening.
Al Maya Island is one of the most incredible resorts in the capital.
The exclusive island is known for its legendary Maya Fridays parties, and we’re very excited that it is hosting one this week.
Found just a short boat ride from the capital, here you can dance the day away to tunes from some of the capital’s hottest DJs, and take a dip in the pool whenever you need to cool off for a bit.
The line up on Friday includes DJs Lucy Stone, Bryon Williams and Chad Phunk, and entry is free for ladies before 1pm and free for Etihad Airways employees before 2pm.
Tickets are Dhs125 per person and each pass includes one free drink.
You can get there by taking the free boat shuttle from the Al Maya boat harbour near the Corniche, or if you have your own boat or jet ski (lucky you) you can park it there for free.
The event is open to couples and mixed groups aged over 21, and it runs from 11am until 9pm.
