Zuma Abu Dhabi chosen for editor’s table experience

The one-off meal will treat Time Out readers to a bespoke dining experience

A special editor’s table event will be held on Friday, August 16, and where better to host than the very best restaurant in the capital?

Zuma, the Japanese venue on Al Maryah Island is currently holder of our Best Japanese, Best Fine Dining Brunch and Best Restaurant in Abu Dhabi awards. So, yes, we think it’s rather special.

From robata, noodles and tempura to exquisite sushi, sashimi and maki rolls, and delicious miso soup, edamame and main courses such as miso black cod and spicy beef tenderloin, the array of food at the restaurant is dazzling.

Joining the editor and the team at the table (in Zuma’s stunning private dining room, no less) will be a hand-picked group of Time Out’s most passionate readers, who have participated in the Tastes of Capital program and who are regularly contact us (and point out the occasional typo… Thanks guys). Expect invitations in your inbox shortly.

The editor’s table is the finale of Time Out’s Tastes of Capital initiative, which celebrates the Abu Dhabi dining scene in partnerhsip with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and we’re sure you’ll agree there’s no better place to hold it than the Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant of the Year.

This year, Zuma celebrates five years in Abu Dhabi. Want the back story to why this place is so good? Well, Zuma founder, Rainer Becker recently spoke to us to celebrate ten years of Zuma Dubai. Read about the Zuma effect here.
