Things might be quiet in Abu Dhabi at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that the parties have stopped.
Al Maya Island is hosting a huge party this Friday (August 23), and it’s going to be incredible.
If you’re looking to blow off some steam and dance the afternoon and evening away with your mates, then you need to check it out.
Al Maya is a stylish resort found just a short boat ride from the capital, and the line-up for the upcoming Maya Fridays event includes DJs Lucy Stone, Chad Phunk and Bryon Williams.
Entry is free for ladies before 1pm and free for Etihad Airways employees before 2pm.
Tickets are Dhs125 per person and each pass includes one free drink.
You can get here by taking the free boat shuttle from the Al Maya boat harbour near the Corniche, or if you have your own boat or jet ski (lucky you) you can park it there for free.
The event is open to couples and mixed groups aged over 21, and it runs from 11am until 9pm.
It’s the kind of event that makes you feel very smug that you’re lucky enough to live in Abu Dhabi.
