Stormzy and Martin Garrix to headline RedFestDXB 2020

Dubai’s annual music festival is back for another year with a colossal line-up

2020 is already shaping up to be a mega year, jam-packed with star-studded gigs – from world-famous singer Ellie Goulding, who will be kicking the year off at Dubai’s Coca Cola Arena in January to Lionel Richie, OneRepublic and Lauryn Hill who will be headlining the 2020 edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, bring on the new year, we say.

Last week, British rapper, grime star and Glastonbury 2019 headliner Stormzy announced a gig in Dubai as part of his 2020 world tour on his Twitter account, and it’s now been revealed that the performance will be a part of RedFestDXB 2020.

The huge music festival is back for its seventh edition and as of now, the line-up also includes Martin Garrix, Young Thug, Bastille, Cheat Codes and Machine Gun Kelly.

The two-day long festival, which will take place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, kicks off on Thursday February 6 with Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix headlining, along with American rapper Jeffery Lamar Williams, who is famously known as Young Thug, and British indie pop band Bastille.

The Friday will see Stormzy take Dubai by, ahem, storm, together with Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes and chart-topper Machine Gun Kelly.
