We love handing out our Time Out Abu Dhabi awards to venues in the city.
After a year of anonymously reviewing places, the winners have to have stood out in a number of set criteria before they receive a nomination.
Then, if they land an award it represents a remarkable achievement.
So it gives us great pleasure when the winners take pride in their success and want to share it with the community here in the capital.
Earlier this year, Abu Dhabi stalwart PJ O’Reilly’s was named Pub of the Year at our Music & Nightlife Awards 2019.
Then, at the end of November 2019, it landed the Best Pub Food award for the second year running at the Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards 2019.
To celebrate, the pub, at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, is throwing a big party on Thursday December 19, and everyone is invited.
From 7pm, there will be pass-around sampler portions of PJ’s best-selling dishes of the year and pints of the black stuff and Irish short drinks are Dhs10 until 9pm.
Then, the drinks will be Dhs25 until closing.
Sonya Mac will be DJing and MCing throughout the night, giving away prizes to customers as she goes.
