A restaurant for geeks has opened in Abu Dhabi

This nerdy eatery is full of Funko Pops and toys

Here at Time Out Abu Dhabi, we’re self-confessed geeks.

We love Star Wars, video games, we know pop culture like the back of our hands and we have been drawn into internet arguments obsessing over tiny details (Han shot first, obviously…).

So when we found out there’s a restaurant in Abu Dhabi that’s dedicated to all things geeky, it certainly gained our attention.

Geek Kitchen Restaurant (that’s definitely Geek, not Greek), is a dedicated restaurant for those who like to embrace the nerdy side of life.

Decked out with pop culture wall decorations, a massive Funk Pop display case and loads more, it feels more like Middle East Comic Con than a place to grab a bite to eat.

Plus, loads of the dishes on the menu have suitably geeky names like The Hulk Avo Smashed, Jedi Knight Omelette, Kryptonite Stuffed Chicken breast and more.

Even the side dishes are even called sidekicks, you can’t say they’ve not gone all-in on the theme.

There are a number of healthy options available on the menu as well from salads, oatmeal, smoothies and the rest if a big burger, sandwich or pasta isn’t what you’re after.

It’s tough to squeeze into those super suits after all.

We’re not sure about you but we look forward to visiting sometime soon.
