Born in the USA? You don’t need to be to celebrate Independence Day this July 4 – Stars ‘N’ Bars on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island has got offers to please all.
Available throughout the day, only Saturday July 4, the US-themed, Monaco-born bar and restaurant is serving up a menu of special dishes and drinks, with selected beverages priced at just Dhs4 for your first 40 minutes.
And if you thought the restaurant’s dishes were already indulgent enough – you’ve seen nothing yet. (Though you might need to see about an afternoon nap after tackling these plates.)
Specials include the belly-busting It’s Morning Again In America – a pure-genius pile of French fries loaded with smashed burger patties, cheese, chipotle, gherkins, onion and spring onion.
Something to share? Check out the Sigma Pi Corn Dog Platter, starring six battered hotdogs, served up with an assortment of toppings including nachos, cheese and jalapeño, ranch and barbecue sauce, and classic ketchup, mayo and mustard.
If you’re in the mood for a challenge, try the Yes We Can (Eat the Monster Chilli Cheese Dog), topped with chilli con carne, liquid cheddar, onion and pickle.
Round off with the (either pure brilliance or downright bizarre) Peanut Butter Jelly Time Tacos, loaded with marshmallows for maximum fluff-factor.
