Abu Dhabi has no shortage of brilliant brunches, and if you’re a serial Friday feaster, Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is no doubt already on your radar.
This summer, however, it’s adding something new to the capital’s weekend dining scene, in the shape of The Carvery Unlimited, through which it promises to “breathe new life into old-fashion carvery dining”.
Running on Fridays from 12.30pm to 4pm, with all dishes served to the table, the carvery brunch features slow-roasted meats including Australian prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, herb-crusted rack of lamb with mint sauce and, perhaps most untraditionally (but by no means unwelcome) peri peri-marinated spring chicken – all of which come with roast potatoes, cauliflower gratin and seasonal veg.
And that’s not all – there’s also a range of salads to tuck into, including buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, rocca and basil and Caesar salad, plus small plates such as crispy calamari served with a herby aioli.
Vegetarian? Fret not – there are a range of pasta dishes to choose from, while fish fans can go for the pan-seared salmon with saffron and chive cream sauce.
Make sure you save room for an abundance of desserts, cheeses and chutneys…
