New healthy-eating venue now open at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi

Sponsored: The Garden by Bay View uses local fish, vegetables and free-range meats

We love it when a new restaurant opens in Abu Dhabi, but when it comes with locally sourced food, fresh line-caught fish and grass-fed and free-range meats, it’s even more exciting.

Now open at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, The Garden by Bay View sounds like a must-try experience.

Tapping into the growing demand for healthy eating options, the venue uses vegetables from Al Ain farms and seafood from local fishermen.

Opened just in time for the cool winter months, The Garden is, as it sounds, an al fresco space, with great views over the waters in front of the hotel and surrounded by greenery.

The menu includes small bites such as lobster soft shell tacos and spinach and haloumi croquettes and garden salads including watermelon and zaatar. When it comes to mains you can choose from the likes of a grass-fed Angus beef burger, spit-roasted free-range half chicken, Arabian Gulf chilli and garlic prawns, all making full use of The Garden’s barbecue.

There’s plenty for little ones, too, with kids’ dishes including a selection of smoked and barbequed meats such as the grilled double dog, free-range chicken yakitori skewers, charred local fish filet and grass-fed angus beef steak.

If you have a sweet tooth, don’t worry as there are fresh fruits on the rocks, a cheesecake tart and a “Magnum” vanilla ice cream for you to enjoy.

The restaurant is open every day from 4pm, closing at midnight during the week and 1am at weekends.
