As part of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, here at Time Out Abu Dhabi we’ve partnered with more than 40 restaurants, bars, cafés and lounges across the capital to bring you Sweetest Things.
From Friday November 13 to Saturday November 28 there will be mouth-watering desserts available at some of the city’s very best places for desserts.
From coffee and cake deals at the capital’s trendy coffee shops to discounted desserts in high-end restaurants and loads more in malls across the city, there will be loads of options to try during the period of the campaign.

It’s part of the overall Abu Dhabi Culinary Season from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi which includes a variety of promotions across the capital, including Yas Flavors (a series of special set menus on Yas Island) and Chef’s Studio, a pop-up cooking school running in December.

Amerigos
A funky Mexican restaurant on Yas Island, Amerigos is offering its homemade churros with a hot cappuccino for Dhs62.

Andaz Lounge
Usually Dhs40, during Sweetest Things, the pretty lounge (which has great views) will be offering its pistachio baklava, with rose water syrup and date cream, for half price.

Boomah, The Owl Café
The region’s only owl café, which takes the welfare of its feathered friends very seriously, is offering Dhs10 off an acai bowl (or owl, as they call it here) if you buy it in conjunction with a ticket for the owl room.

Brick Rooftop Kitchen & Lounge
The roof terrace is offering a combination deal on its incredible smores dessert. Order it with a pizza for Dhs79 or spatchcock chicken for Dhs99.

Chocomelt
The cool café and dessert bar is offering 25 percent off two of its most delicious desserts, the maple cinnamon roll, which is topped with a maple cheesey sauce and caramelised pecan nuts and served with date and toffee sauce (making it Dhs34) and the popcorn mountain, a milk chocolate cake with popcorn sauce and Oreo crumbs (making it Dhs36).

Dino’s Bistro Italiano
For Dhs50, you’ll be able to get a coffee with this funky and fun Italian restaurant’s house tiramisu.

Dusit Gourmet
There’s a brilliant range of sweet treats at this venue at Dusit Thani and throughout Sweetest Things you’ll get a free hot drink with anything you order.

Flooka
The Lebanese seafood spot at Eastern Mangroves will be offering its kunafa at the discounted price of Dhs20.

Fouquet’s
For Sweetest Things, the high-end French restaurant, with a menu from legendary chef Pierre Gagniere is serving its signature millefeuille dessert with a hot drink thrown in for free every afternoon the venue is open.

Jones the Grocer
One of Abu Dhabi’s most popular chains, the Aussie deli and restaurant is offering 50 percent off all of its desserts throughout Sweetest Things.

Marco’s New York Italian
The award-winning Italian restaurant by Marco Pierre White is offering two-for-one on all its desserts, including the signature Mr White’s Tiramisu (which is Dhs55).

Nolu’s

ParKafé
The cosy café at Park Rotana is offering a choice of latte, cappuccino or Americano with a vegan muffin (chocolate, cherry, blueberry or raspberry) or chocolate cookie.

Rayana Latin Tapas Bar
The new Latin restaurant is offering its churros, served with homemade dulce de leche and cinnamon, for half price, meaning they’re Dhs20.

Sacci
Fans of Sicilian desserts should head here, because the cannolo is made with utmost respect for the great dish’s traditions and roots. You can get it with an espresso for Dhs45 during the campaign.

Sanderson’s

With a new menu in place, the sports bar is showcasing one of its latest desserts, the taco platter –featuring strawberry cheesecake and chocolate smores versions.

A top spot for classic British grub, it doesn’t come more traditional than sticky toffee pudding. For Sweetest Things you’ll get a free glass of bubbly when you order one.

Another venue offering the classic sticky toffee pudding is this family-friendly sports bar. Here you’ll get it for half price when you order a main course.

The award-winning bar and restaurant is offering its chocolate fondue, served with marshmallows, fruit, biscuits and more for a discounted price.

Yamanote Atelier
