Sign up to free cooking classes with Chef Studio in Abu Dhabi

A pop-up cookery school will take place in The Galleria Al Maryah Island in December

From December 3 to 15, Time Out Abu Dhabi has teamed up with restaurants across the city to bring you the latest instalment of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season.

Chef Studio is coming to The Galleria Al Maryah Island, offering a range of cooking classes for the final 13 days of the annual event.

Abu Dhabi Culinary Season takes place across the capital showcasing the fantastic range of cuisines, venues and chefs in the city.

During Chef Studio there will be sessions for kids and families learning how to cook festive treats, the opportunity to learn how to make your own bread, masterclasses in making mouthwatering dishes with meat and fish, fresh pasta-making sessions and loads more.

Taking part in the event are top chefs from venues in hotels such as Emirates Palace, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Villas and Rosewood Abu Dhabi, as well as talent from top restaurants including Fouquet’s, Tamba and COYA.

Abu Dhabi’s favourite pop-up pizza parlour Marmellata will also be present to give you tips on creating your own dough and bread from scratch and the team from Magnolia Bakery will give tips on making one of their most popualr desserts.

There will be more than 20 sessions over the course of the event, with slots available in the daytime, evening and night, offering a taster of how the professional chefs do it in their kitchens.

It’s totally free to take part, with six spots available for each session. They will be filled on a first come, first served basis by emailing your name, age, telephone number, class preference and cooking level to chefstudio@itp.com. Due to limited space and high interest, each person will only be alloted one spot and put on the waiting list for any others.

Children must be ages seven or above and be able to follow basic instructions.

Social distancing and safety measures will also be in place, with masks needing to be worn at all times.
