If it’s sushi you’re craving, you won’t go far wrong with a trip to 99 Sushi Bar and Restaurant, particularly given there are brand-new menus to check out.
This chic, sophisticated Japanese eatery serves up top-notch food and now it’s shaking things up with the addition of a new tasting menu and a business lunch.
The new 13-course Haru tasting menu is available every day for either lunch or dinner with packages starting from Dhs899 per couple.
Dishes include the restaurant’s popular edamame with Kobe wagyu fat and capumiso, plus Atlantic blue lobster, Alaskan king crab, Australian wagyu and foie gras.
The 99 cheesecake with yuzu and knife ice cream rounds things of nicely.
Looking for someone to conduct a little work outside of the office? The Omakase business lunch is a nine-course menu costing Dhs149 per person.
Tiger prawn tempura, a selection of nigiri, salmon flambé and Australian wagyu all feature on the new set menu that you can tuck from Sunday to Thursday between noon and 3.30pm, which also includes tea or coffee.
