New Mediterranean eatery opens in Abu Dhabi

Get ready for a laid-back dining experience by the water

Get ready to be transported to the Mediterranean – Medi Terra has opened its waterfront doors at Marsa Al Bateen Marina.

Promising to transport guests to European shores with its menu of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, the brand-new Abu Dhabi restaurant offers a casual dining experience with pretty views from its al fresco terrace.

The menu has a strong focus on Italian classics and you can start your Mediterranean meal off with a selection of starters including calamari with lemon aioli, arancini, burrata, and fresh salads (we have our eyes on the salad with kale, figs, avocado and cranberries), plus sliders and freshly made pizzas.

Don’t fill up too much though – signature main courses include seafood linguini with scallops, shrimps, calamari and bisque, beef tenderloin served with kale, mushrooms, crispy potatoes and jus, and braised chicken alfredo.

And if you have a sweet tooth, the dessert counter stocks plenty of treats including tiramisu, red velvet cake, and coconut panna cotta with mango and almond foam.

The family-friendly restaurant also offers a dedicated menu for little ones packed full of favourites like penne alfredo, margherita pizza, mozzarella sticks and more.

Throughout Ramadan, Medi Terra is open from 3pm until 1am during the week and between 3pm and 2am on weekends, and it’s also serving up special iftar and suhoor menus.
