If you love everything matcha – matcha hot drinks, desserts, milkshakes and more – you’re going to love this cafe in Muroor, Abu Dhabi.
Soo Matcha Café first opened in the capital in early 2020 as the Emirate’s first specialty venue dedicated to matcha.
It has since built up a dedicated fanbase due to its extensive matcha-led menu and cool beachy vibes. At this spot you’ll find everything from vegan matcha chia pudding, to keto matcha cheesecake, to a nitro matcha drink.
If you’re as extra about your matcha as we are, then your ears probably perked up at the sound of that.
Even better news? Soo Matcha Café is coming to Dubai later this year. The exact dates haven’t been announced yet, but we know the café will be appearing in Jumeirah by the end of 2021.

Wondering how much matcha is too much? The limit does not exist on this buzzing menu.
The green-tea dedicated café serves matcha and white chocolate chip cookies, which cost Dhs28 for a bag of three; vegan matcha croissants for Dhs21; morning granola yogurt with chia seeds, mixed berries, and maple syrup for Dhs36; matcha and beetroot swirl soft serve icecream for Dhs28; keto matcha cheesecake for Dhs21 per slice and more.
On the drinks menu you’ll find matcha with rose “mylk” for Dhs30; om chaga matcha for Dhs35; a matcha smoothie with banana, vegan yogurt, and dates; a mule slushy with yuzu, matcha, and mint; and every type of matcha latte (hot or cold) that you can imagine.
There’s Soo Matcha to celebrate with this spot… we’re (caffeine) buzzing.
