There are only a couple of weeks left at Expo 2020 Dubai, but that doesn’t mean the world’s greatest show is done surprising us. Pickl, one of Dubai’s favourite homegrown burger joints and the winner of Time Out Dubai’s Best Burger Restaurant 2022 award, has landed at the world’s greatest show with a food truck. Get ready to sink your teeth into a serious sando while you explore the pavilions.
Hungry at Expo 2020 Dubai? There are so many places to eat, you’d better hold onto your hat while you have a look around. But if it’s burgers and sandos you’re after, Pickl is an easy choice to refuel between country pavilions and getting that exclusive Expo white passport.
The Pickl pop-up is located at Expo in Festival Garden near the Mobility District. The food truck is serving up sandos, cheese burgers, fries and its new pick n mix. If you’re wondering what to order, the cheeseburger comes with a chuck patty, secret sauce, cheese and house pickles in a potato bun. Yum. If it’s a sando you’re after, the Nashville chicken sando will knock your socks off with a blast of heat and flavour.

There have been massive things happening with Pickl lately, including new locations in Abu Dhabi at Mamsha Al Saadiyat and WTC Mall. Fans of the homegrown Dubai brand begged and pleaded via DM’s to have our own branch in the capital and late last year the first branch finally opened in Abu Dhabi. Now we have two brilliant spots to choose from.
While you’re at Expo, check out the cool new kids’ space, The Family Place. As the weather starts to heat up, a new indoor entertainment area has opened with a family-friendly café and play-and-learn activities that introduce the kiddos to nature.
In short, there are loads of new things happening at Expo before the big finale. You’d better head down.
